My husband is really cute. I'm way luckier than he is. The truth is, he's been deserving of a post for a very long time, and because I'm so NOT good with my updated mac- I haven't been able to figure out how to get my pictures up. I'm so mad he beat me to it. The truth is, Jeff has done all those things for me since the moment I married him. I do them only because he taught me to. He's taught me everything about serving in love. So, here are the real truths:
1.) Jeff is the wittiest individual I've ever met. I had to marry him because he made my world so much brighter. After 3 years of marriage, not a day goes by without a deep belly laughing experience. He's so funny!
2.) When in doubt, Jeff serves. He makes cookies every Sunday and takes them to everyone. He says, "it brightens their day."
3.) Jeff has been in school for nearly eight straight years post mission. He certainly knows how to be tough and stick things out, even when it's the last thing he feels like doing.
4.) When Jeff loves someone, it's all he cares about. He loves me, but he really loves Chanel. We're his world and everything he does is proof of that.
5.) Jeff plugs my phone in every night. Small thing, I know, but for whatever reason-I hate doing it. Some nights I have no idea where it is and would rather go to bed than try to hunt it down. He calls it, goes in the garage to get it, comes back, and plugs it in.
6.) During the three months of my student teaching, Jeff got up at the crack of dawn, made me breakfast, made me lunch (with an artistic note), packed up the baby AND dropped her off to my moms EVERYDAY! He didn't miss one...not even one. In fact, many times he even came to school to bring me something that I of course forgot.
7.) Jeff brings home two small bouquets of tulips for me and Chanel every so often. I walk into our room and next to the flowers (he's clipped and arranged) is a note that reads, "just because."
These are only some of the truths about Jeff. Now you see that I'm not half as special- because I've learned everything from him.
The truth is, living with Jeff is a blessing of course because he makes my life easier, but he always manages to find a way to make it far more meaningful as well. No doubt this is the greatest gift he's given me.

I went to school with Jeff--I'm a fellow VHS Viking. Anywho, for some reason we were arch enemies our sophomore year, junior we could stand each other and by senior year I totally respected him. You guys are adorable together! You may very well be the poster couple for a selfless marriage--that's AWESOME.

Jeff really is one of the funniest people I've ever met. And what a catch....tall, dark and handsome, hilarious, smart, AND he makes cookies!!!!
