Well, it's 12:17 a.m. and Lisanne is sleeping soundly by my side, so I thought I'd take this opportunity to let you all know how amazing she is - she would be embarrassed if she knew I were doing this, but I'm going to do it anyway. She has so many wonderful qualities and I am so grateful she is my wife. I have told her many times and always remind her how grateful I am for our marriage as she plays such a vital role in the person I want to become...and her influence has made me a much better man - I bounce every idea off her, we talk about everything, conceal nothing, and can discuss anything. However, I just wanted to take some time and let you know how amazing she is:
1) She just received her Masters Degree in Theatre Education
2) She used to get up at 4:45 a.m. to go workout in the dead of winter so she could be ready to leave the house at 6:45 a.m. for student teaching (now she only gets up at 5:45 a.m...come on Lisanne, wake up!)
3) She always manages to make me a brown bag lunch before I take off to school, and always includes a sweet love note
4) She can multitask like nobody's business - she'll get 194 errands done in the time it takes me to do 8
5) She dominates on a MAC (ok, I know this might be ridiculous...but she does, and I am terrible on a mac...it's time for me to upgrade like the rest of the world:)
6) She loves our daughter and her husband with everything she has....
7) She's beautiful and talented, gifted and giving...loving selflessly is effortless for my Lisannie
And many more...the list goes on and on. Anyway, I'm bragging about her and I'm proud of it! She is the love of my life. Love you Lisannie. See you in the morning. xoxo.

Wow Jeff...what a sweet tribute to Lis! All the things you said about her are very true and I loved learning about the sweet additional things she does as a wife and mother.
She is a special one...you got lucky, as did she! Oh and that is a great picture!
