Yesterday marked the 26th birthday of my dear sister and friend Stephanie. I had to change my playlist for this post because this song always reminds me of her and the way she has changed my life. The thing I love most about Stephanie is her pure heart. She is able to love deeply, serve willingly, and brighten anyone's day with a thoughtful phone call. I've known Stephanie for 10 years now and her most beautiful qualities have only been magnified in that period of time. When our family moved to Alpine, Stephanie was one of the first people I heard about but didn't actually meet until about five or six months later. She was basically a celebrity at our high school and prior to meeting her, I found all the amazing things I'd heard about her hard to believe...until I got to know her. I later realized, that unbelievably, she WAS beautiful, all the boys in school really DID do anything to get her attention, and she REALLY WAS compassionate and kind! Upon realizing such a person existed, I knew I had to make her family. Luckily, I didn't have to do much work... McKay caught on quick and both our lives have forever been changed "For Good." I love you Steph. Happy Birthday.

You are so right! When we first moved in and I met Steph I thought she was the prettiest girl I had ever seen in real life! And then you get to know her and she is even prettier. She's so sweet, and yet so funny. Thank heavens for match makers!
